Distribution Facilities Specialist
Applicants must meet all the required qualification requirements, including education and any selective placement factors described below by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience developing guidance, procedures, and recommendations for operating a full scope of secure logistics distribution center operations. Experience tracking performance of warehouse operations to ensure commodities move in accordance with established timelines. Experience monitoring the condition and organization of supply levels and storage areas. Experience developing and implementing warehouse and distribution procedures for improvements. Experience overseeing Materials Management and Supply Chain functions including planning, procurement, storage, security and distribution of materials and products. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-12 position.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
