Distribution Facilities Specialist

Applicants must meet all the required qualification requirements, including education and any selective placement factors described below by the closing date of this announcement. If you are qualifying based on education OR if there are mandatory education requirements listed below, you MUST submit a copy of your college transcript with your application. Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience developing guidance, procedures, and recommendations for operating a full scope of secure logistics distribution center operations. Experience tracking performance of warehouse operations to ensure commodities move in accordance with established timelines. Experience monitoring the condition and organization of supply levels and storage areas. Experience developing and implementing warehouse and distribution procedures for improvements. Experience overseeing Materials Management and Supply Chain functions including planning, procurement, storage, security and distribution of materials and products. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-12 position.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
