Internal Auditor
Position Title: Internal Auditor
Location: Sterling, Virginia
Position
Summary:
The Internal Auditor is responsible for assisting the CFO in the creation and execution of an internal audit plan. The Auditor will contribute to the organization's success by managing the internal audit plan and other special projects as directed by management.
Specific Tasks:
-Conduct complex financial and compliance audits from inception to completion in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and company practices and procedures
-Plan and perform operational audits of company functions, departments and locations
-Communicate the audit findings and make suggestions for improvements in the internal control structures to ensure they adequately prevent and detect errors, fraud, abuse and waste
-Auditor will also assist with other confidential Accounting and Payroll processes
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
-Exceptional communication and people skills, both verbal and written
-Strong understanding of ERP automated systems and processes
-Prefer two years Audit experience in a manufacturing organization; including
an understanding of performing/coordinating physical inventory counts and variance
analysis
-Ability to travel as required for a multi-location international company
Salary is commensurate with experience and education.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
