CACI National Cyber Solutions, is currently looking for an experienced Front End / Sr. Web Developer/Designer who is innovative, takes pride in ownership, and eager to employ modern, web-based software technologies to build secure, cloud-enabled applications for a Department of Defense customer. The qualified candidate will be an active contributor on a medium-sized development team that is actively transforming legacy business process with modern, innovative, scalable, and high-performing solutions that are utilized by the DoD employees to support the warfighter. Successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-fidelity prototypes for new user interfaces and interactions for various projects
- Delivering concept and vision prototypes, applying rapid ideation and prototyping skills
- Building prototypes based on approved requirements and wireframes which includes production ready cross-browser tested, standards based HTML/CSS
- Coaching and mentoring of peers and less experienced software developers
- Leading (as needed) short-term software development projects
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Experience in developing website and/or web applications
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with project teams
- Front-end and some back-end development experience. More important is the experience of seamless integration of front-to-back end functionality
- Creativity, Flexibility, Detail-Oriented, Deadline-Oriented
- Experience with some or all of the following: HTML5, Javascript libraries (i.e. Angular, Node, etc.), Ajax, JSON, Rest, CSS, Java, XML, Grails, Rails, Apache, Linux Server environments
- Experience building cross-browser user interfaces, including IE8 and Firefox
- Ability to rapidly iterate through prototypes
- Demonstrated knowledge of Java programming and rapid prototyping technologies
- Familiar with the Agile Scrum software development methodologies
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Experience using SDLC tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GIT
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Apache/UNIX/Linux skills required
- Have a strong customer centric focus
- Demonstrated ability to self-prioritize, organize, and manage a task workload
- Ability to support surge initiatives to ensure delivery of mission functional requirements
- Strong ability to accurately estimate stories and technical tasks
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 10
Years of experience.
Desired or Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Expert or strong working knowledge of the following technologies:
- Node.js or Angular.js
- Ozone Widget Framework
- MongoDB, REDIS
