Design/evaluate innovative network performance analysis & optimization SON algorithms for UMTS and/or LTE systems. Assess their performance using MATLAB, Atoll or other commercial tools simulations, integrating with commercially available RF network planning and optimization tools. Perform customer-oriented studies. Effectively communicate information about plans, requirements and results to management.
Travel on a limited basis to customer sites.
Full-time position.
- 2 years of experience in wireless communications is required.
- In-depth knowledge of cellular communications protocols such as 3GPP LTE, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA (EUL) and GSM; RF Optimization procedures including real network configuration changes required for implementing the optimization (requiring experience with UMTS or LTE) and available optimization tools; and SON as presented in 3GPP standards and other non-standard vendor solutions.
- Experience is required designing, building and running complex simulations scenarios relating to cellular networks.
- References are required.
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
