This is a Student Internship position under the Pathways Internship Program. The position is headquartered in a FHWA Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division (EFLHD) office.
This is an Excepted Service appointment. As a part of the Pathways Internship Program, the appointment may be extended until the selectee''s educational program requirements have been completed. The student intern may be converted, without a break in service to a term (time-limited), career or career conditional (permanent) appointment upon graduation and completion of program requirements but there is no guarantee. Selectee is on a trial period while on a Pathways Internship appointment.
Anticipated starting date of the internship is May/June 2014.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
