Primary Job
Responsibilities:
Conduct laboratory testing with direction and oversight of laboratory managers in the physical properties lab Coordinate with supervisors and engineers to maintain and improve test equipment and calibrations Review and follow laboratory standard operating procedures and test methods Demonstrate competency in the technical and related work of Capital Testing Coordinate with technical staff in analysis of data and detailed report generation Develop and improve operating procedures for new and existing services Follow best laboratory practices to promote a safe and functional working environment Safe handling of hazardous materials Minimum Qualification:
HS diploma or GED certificate required Attention to detail Must possess good mechanical inclination and ability to demonstrate hands-on experience Experience with common construction, power, and hand tools Technical competency to understand and communicate test procedures and results Ability to follow rigorous standard operating procedures Possess good computer, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Preferred Qualification:
2-year Associates degree in technical field Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
