Mosaic Pharmacy Service is a closed door pharmacy that provides comprehensive pharmacy care to medically complex and vulnerable seniors, all across the country.
We provide a patient-focused, pharmacist-driven care model in collaboration with health systems, assisted living facilities and health plans.

The ability to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellness of complex and vulnerable patients Provide unique services like medication synchronization, state-of-the-art adherence packaging, and custom clinical programs Job Profile The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for providing the best care possible for our patients.
Our technicians help coordinate across our patients' care continuum including between the patient, providers, and pharmacy.
This includes speaking directly with patients about their health and changes, helping to organize patient prescriptions, filling medication orders in adherence packaging, and working with pharmacists to optimize medication regimens.
Key responsibilities include the following:
Represents Mosaic to its members over the telephone, with excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
Answers routine inquiries from patients regarding health plan drug coverage, prices, and related issues.
Identifies situations when patient should speak with pharmacist and appropriately triages to the pharmacist.
Assist the pharmacist in filling prescriptions, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
Processes third party claims according to terms of patient's drug plan.
Contacts insurance companies and/or PBMs to resolve claims issues.
Run automated packaging machinery to pre-sort, package and restock medications.
Orders and stocks drugs and supplies, assembles drugs and supplies for clinical departments, stocks crash carts, and performs other inventory duties.
Packs and ships orders nationwide Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications Proof of an active Virginia pharmacy technician license required.
High School Degree or GED Equivalent is required.
Ability to pass drug screen and criminal background check.
Excellent customer service skills Experience with retail, mail order or LTC pharmacy data entry and pharmacy dispensing software strongly preferred Experience with Parata or other pharmacy automation systems a plus Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal and state regulations concerning patient care Strong communication (written and verbal) skills Strong attention to detail Bilingual Spanish fluency a plus Benefits From day one, we offer:
