30 pm Responsibilities of the Dental Assistant role include:
Preparing patients for dental work.
Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
Assisting dental hygienists with procedures and other tasks when necessary.
Exposing dental X-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental X-ray equipment.
Dental Assistant (Healthcare Sciences) Job Requirements Successful candidates for the Dental Assistant:
X-ray certified for the state of VA (Please ask what state they have an Xray Cert) Comfortable working in a General Dentistry Experience in implant dentistry, oral surgery, and root canals (highly preferred) Dental Assistant (Healthcare Sciences) To apply:
