We are Seeking a highly motivated Cyber Operations Engineer to join a mature team located in Sterling VA location.
The Cyber Security Operations will be responsible for the following:
The Cyber Operations Engineer will support a very dynamic program in a world-class operations facility and must have a broad range of experience supporting mission critical networks and computer systems.
You should have a desire to problem solve and troubleshoot critical systems at all layers of the OSI model in a system-essential role.
Other Duties as assigned.
Required
Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience Ability to demonstrate real-world experience in Linux, system dashboards and analysis.
Experience supporting mission critical networks and computer systems.
Experience troubleshooting critical systems.
Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Requires substantial knowledge of projects, programs, or systems in order to provide enhancements within job area.
Required Security Clearance:
TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred
Qualifications:
Knowledgeable in CentOS/Linux operating systems Familiarity with Kibana/Elastic dashboard analysis Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science.
Relevant industry IT certifications in any of the aforementioned fields of study.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 20 pounds Able to walk throughout the job site to meet with employees Able to use standard office equipment including; computer and copier Patriot Group International Inc.
