IT Disaster Recovery Analyst

Job DescriptionThe Information Technology (IT) Disaster Recovery Analyst manages the development, implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and programs for ensuring the security of company data, databases, information systems, and technology with respect to disaster recovery.
Coordinates, tests, and administers disaster recovery and resumption plans.
This role is responsible for managing the IT Disaster Recovery Program and all aspects of disaster recovery.
Job Responsibilities Manages the development, implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and programs for ensuring the security of company data, databases, information systems, and technology with respect to disaster recovery.
Coordinates, tests, and administers disaster recovery and resumption plans.
Coordinates with system wide emergency management processes and leaders.
Attends system design and change management meetings to advocate for Disaster Recovery needs.
Provides reports and other artifacts to leadership to assist in understanding Disaster Recovery status, capabilities, and gaps.
Manages and coordinates recovery plans from a technology perspective.
Manages relationship internally and externally related to daily information security operations.
Supports additional projects and duties as assigned.
Additional RequirementsEducationBachelorsor Associates and 4 additional years of experienceor HS Diploma/GED and 8 additional years of experienceExperience3 years in Disaster Recovery field or related fieldSkills Demonstrated proficiency in managing and coordinating recovery plans from a technology perspective; including, but not limited to, technology dependencies and associated sequence of restorations.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
