Hybrid Remote JOB DESCRIPTION Description Seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Business Analyst/Scrum Master to join our team based out of Sterling, VA and begin an exciting and challenging career with Federal Systems.
Responsibilities Include:
oConducts and facilitates all scrum ceremonies - daily standup, sprint planning, release planning, grooming sessions, sprint retrospectives, and sprint reviews oWorks with client to create, review, and adjudicate Program Increment planning oWork with scrum team to execute all objectives and epics in the Program Increment oDeveloping detailed documentation of client needs oLeads and facilitates grooming session with clients to gather, analyze, and decompose both functional and non-functional requirements oUsing Atlassian tools Confluence and Jira oCreating detailed user stories, including acceptance criteria, mockups (if required), and any additional information to assist development oWhen scope changes occur mid-sprint or during a release cycle, works with Project Managers on adjustments and message to the clients oInteracts with Office of Information Technology (OIT) PMs and their customers.
oDevelops and delivers business processes for requirements oWrites JQL queries in Jira oPerforms requirements analysis to determine feasibility and to decompose requirements to concise and testable user stories oDevelops and adheres to Definition-of-Ready and Definition-of-Done established by the scrum team Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND
Experience:
oBachelor's degree in a technical field of study is required with a minimum of 5 years of experience (or masters equivalent).
oUS Citizenship is required and ability to obtain a Customs and Border Protection Public Trust.
Required Skills:
oBusiness analyst with a minimum of 5 years of experience facilitating meetings with stakeholders to develop business and technical requirements oAbility to lead a Scrum technical development team of 6-10 team members oExperience in leading and facilitating all scrum ceremonies oExperience with SAFe and Program Increment planning and execution oStrong time management to ensure ceremonies are done efficiently and within time box oMust be resourceful in removing scrum team roadblocks oServant leadership mentality to drive discussion and input from all members of the scrum team oCertified Scrum Master (CSM) certification oCertified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is a plus oProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus oExperience defining software requirements for complex products using the Agile software delivery methodology oAbility to understand complex technical concepts and present them in simple terms to non-technical team members and clients oCandidate must be willing to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple assignments.
Must actively support, enforce, and contribute to the Agile practices adopted by the development team oMust have experience with enterprise web applications for the Federal government oExperience with 508 compliance oMay provide end-user support to the field Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Atlassian Tools Business Processes Certified Project Management Professional Certified Scrum Master Certified Scrum Product Owner Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
