Senior Systems Engineer - Corporate
OverviewCenturion is proud to be a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and community mental health centers nationwide.
We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Systems Engineer to join our Corporate team located in Sterling, Virginia.
It is an onsite position with a salary ranging from 120k to 130kResponsibilities The Senior Systems Engineer will design, implement, and maintain the following technologies:
Active Directory, Exchange,VMWare, networking, file/print services, corporate applications, and other IT assets.
Use infrastructure tools and techniques to quickly identify and successfully resolve infrastructure and operational requests and issues as an escalation point for corporate IT departments Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
10 years or more of experience in a corporate IT operations environment preferred.
Preferred Certifications:
CompTIA Network +, CompTIA Security +, VMWare VCA, MicrosoftMCSA.
Strong understanding of Microsoft stack (Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, GPO, NTFS/DFS), Exchange 2019, enterprise tools (SCCM, PRTG, PowerShell, Wireshark, Putty, OpenManage.
) enterprise applications (Citrix, SharePoint, Kronos, Barracuda suite, Fresh Service.
) Strong understanding of networking technology, including:
clustering technologies, storage, TCP/IP, firewalls (Fortinet), DNS, VPN, IP Telephony, Wireless, Switching & Routing, SAN technologies, and Virtualization using VMWare ESXi clusters, SAN/NAS storage and Veeam backup.
Demonstrated expertise in server and network troubleshooting, installation, configuration and maintenance.
Experience with current Windows operating systems and servers, including Server 2016 through present, SQL Server 2016 through present, Exchange 2019, SharePoint 2016 through present.
Extensive application support experience of current Microsoft Office family of products.
Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities, including application error and system event logs review.
Experience with Application Load Balancers and load balancing concepts.
Experience with Citrix XenApp.
Knowledge of change management policies and procedures.
Experience with Azure, AWS/S3 cloud infrastructure is a strong plus.
Experience in EHR/EMR systems a plus.
