JOB DESCRIPTIONDevelops, evaluates, and improves industrial manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
Job Duties:
Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
Communicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes.
Confers with vendors in order to determine specifications of products and arrange equipment, material purchase, and parts.
Evaluates products based on specifications and quality standards.
Experience and Education:
Performs work under direct supervision.
Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Typically requires BA and 0-2 years.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Manufacturing Engineer you will:
Support early integration of Lean principles in product design & process development for New Product IntroductionsDrive measurable improvements in safety, quality, lead-time, customer delivery, productivity, inventory and product flowGuide plant teams in developing and executing Lean plans to monitor and increase overall productivity managing multiple value streams, serving as a recognized expert and resource leader for focus areas, process rigor, and delivering significant simplification resultsAssist in Lean plan execution by leading Action Work Outs (AWOs) developing simple solutions to the elimination of waste, developing pull systems where flow is not possible, training personnel, and other activities to achieve world-class process flowPrepare Lean review presentations and pitch to business leaders on Lean business reviewsAddress safety and environmental issues within area of responsibility to ensure a safe work environmentBe an advocate for change, coach, train and mentor site leadership on the fundamentals and principals of Lean ManufacturingQualifications/RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar discipline from an accredited university or collegeRecommended 2 years hands - on experience in Lean deployment and driving changes in production shop floor through strategic projectsDesired CharacteristicsHigh level of initiative in identifying areas of opportunityStrong analytical skills in defect prevention root cause analysis and problem resolutionAbility to develop and motivate a high-involvement team through commitment to meeting customer and organization demandsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsChange agent with strong credibility and influence in the organizationDemonstrated commitment for process improvementSix Sigma Green / Black belt certification or equivalent quality certificationFormal Lean Training / CertificationAbility to work cooperatively and effectively in a diverse multi-cultural team environmentExpertise in lean methodologies and process improvement activities.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
