The Project Manager (PM) provides leadership and management to a high visibility project supporting the US Army with counter-small Unmanned Aerial Systems capabilities.
The PM will work with multi-functional teams, subcontractors, our government customer, and government SETAs to perform full lifecycle project management activities.
Additionally, the PM will oversee the fielding and operational sustainment of the C-sUAS capabilities at various Army installations within CONUS.
More About the Role:
As the PM, the successful candidate will provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership.
The PM serves as the Government's primary POC and provides overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel, including assigning taskings to contractor personnel, supervising on-going technical efforts, and managing overall performance to ensure optimal use of assigned resources and subcontractors.
The PM is ultimately responsible for the quality and efficiency of the project, to include both technical issues and businesses processes.
The PM shall ensure requirements of the project are performed.
You'll Bring These
Qualifications:
Over ten years of relevant experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing projects providing mission capability to the Department of Defense Experience performing manpower utilization, procurement of materials and equipment, standards, training, problem resolution, and employee relations (including subcontractors, cost, budget, and managing to milestones).
Possess a minimum of five years' experience working in an Army or Intelligence Community acquisition project management position leading integrated teams consisting of engineers, developers, and field service representatives Possess a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Project Management / Acquisition disciplines These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Project Management / Acquisition disciplines PMI, Project Management Professional or DAWIA Program Management Level III certification This section should include and preferred or desired qualifications or attributes.
Familiarity with Radio Frequency concepts Experience supporting hardware prototyping lifecycles, hardware manufacturing Familiarity with applying DoD and Industry standards such as, but not limited to ISO-9001, SAE-GAEI Standards, MIL-STD-31000 Familiarity and understanding of DoD Property Management, Logistics, etc.
